Old World Hospitality recently launched its latest venture – EPICENTRE, Gurgaon amidst much fanfare. A performance of Kaifi Aur Main by Shabana Azmi & Javed Akhtar, opening of Artscape an exhibition of 82 artists curated by Sushma Bahl, followed by lunch had prolific turnout of 400+ people, mainly Gurgaon residents and many from Delhi.
A restaurant and lounge, DRIFT at Epicentre Gurgaon was launched on
February 11, 2008 with cocktails , dinner and launch of two exhibitions by Rohit Chawla. Diners at Drift can indulge their palate with an imaginative selection of world cuisine during Lunch & Dinner including Norwegian Smoked Salmon with apple, mascarpone and roasted egg plant, Charmoula crusted Sea Bass with braised leeks and fennel oil, Tandoor smoked Lamb Chops with tangy salad and goat cheese pakora and Bocconcini Tortellini with oven dried tomato essence prosiutto to name a few. A variety of soups, pizzas and desserts are also featured.
In addition to the interesting menu, guests get an opportunity to delight their creative senses with the talent of India's leading photographers on multiple TFT screens in the restaurant. A digital display of Fashion Photography by celebrated photographer Rohit Chawla shall be on view at the restaurant till Feb 27.
In addition,The Epicentre Art Gallery features his exhibition Wanderlust– a photographic tribute to the relentless spirit and style of Gujarat’s nomadic community – Rabaris , which will be on view till Feb 20.
Epicentre at Apparel House boasts of an Auditorium, an Art Gallery, an Amphitheatre and Conference Rooms. Says Sandeep Tandon , Executive Director-Operations Old World Hospitality “The Centre is the only one of its kind in Gurgaon offering culture,conference,banquets and exhibition facilities to all residents and corporate in the vicinity.In addition, The Auditorium & The Art Gallery will fill a much needed void for culture that currently exists in Gurgaon.
